UNESCO’s Role In The Revival and Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan

Abstract

This paper analyzes the problems of cooperation between Uzbekistan and UNESCO in the preservation and restoration of historical and cultural heritage of the Uzbek Republic. The author discusses such aspects as the development of the principles of intercultural dialogue and further expansion of the UNESCO’s List of World Cultural and Natural Heritage by entering in a register the monuments in Uzbekistan and Central Asia at large.
